Welcome to Strings of Penn, a specialist independent music shop nestling in the beautiful south Buckinghamshire countryside between High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.

I’ve been trading as Strings since 1992 and offer instruments, accessories and sheet music for all the violin family, plus a selection of classical and steel-string guitars. You will always find in stock a wide range of new and reconditioned violins, violas and cellos suitable for beginners through to professional players. All are correctly set up in the on-site workshop and are playable immediately.
